Short, because it can be. These are the terms between you and Rupture for using Preppit — the connector, the canvas inside an AI, the Mac app and this website.

What Preppit is

A way to draw what you mean, pin notes and voice memos to the exact spot, and serve the lot into an AI conversation as one structured prompt. It works inside AI products made by other companies — Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's ChatGPT — through a connector you add there. Preppit is not those products, does not control what they do with a prompt, and makes no promise about the answers they give.

Your account

You need to be 13 or over. Keep your password to yourself. Each connector link is a key to your canvases: treat it like a password, and revoke it from the account page if it gets out. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us it has been compromised.

Your content

Everything you draw, write, record, place or capture is yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it, show it back to you, and send it where you ask — nothing more, and nothing for training models. You are responsible for having the right to use what you put on a canvas, including anything you capture from your screen. Do not use Preppit to send content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that you do not have the right to share with the AI you are sending it to.

What we promise, and what we don't

Preppit is early software from a small company. We work hard to keep it up and to keep your data safe, and our privacy page says exactly how. We do not promise it will always be available, that it will keep working when the AI products it lives inside change, or that any particular feature will stay. It is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while Preppit is free, is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Acceptable use

Don't attack the service, probe it for weaknesses without telling us first, use it to get around the safety limits of the AI you serve into, or automate it in a way that makes it worse for everyone else. Don't pass it off as your own or use our name or mark to suggest we endorse something we haven't.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from the account page; that removes everything under it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may withdraw Preppit altogether with 30 days' notice, during which you can export your data.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and we email everyone with an account. Carrying on using Preppit after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction — without taking away any rights you have as a consumer where you live.
